Making a "Tut" noise as he inspected the site, he turned at Faith and shook his head. "No clue." He said bitterly, and stood up straight. "Nothing's changed, I don't get what would be special about it." He said, and bit in inside of his lip. "Okay, okay..." He said, working through his thoughts on the matter. "Way I see it, there are two possibilities." He started, and placed his hands together. "One, they're looking to do something with the body, but that seems unlikely. If they had some weird kind of powers that could raise the dead, I don't see why they wouldn't lead with that." Short of that, he couldn't think of any other use for a dead body, even with the powers he knew could very well exist. "Or, they're old friends." He offered, crossing his arms and exhaling. "I'm not too sure what Peter was doing right before he died, but hey, maybe he ran with these guys for awhile." That seemed like a far more likely explanation to him than any other theory he could think of or had heard floated. While he knew better that to blindly assume the best in people, Occam's Razor favored this over pretty much any other hypothesis. "How's that sound? It'd explain how they knew about us, not quite sure how they knew Peter was dead, but answers must lie somewhere." He waited for Faith to respond. He thought his reasoning was sound, but it was always good to hear a second opinion.
