Bio: Born in Alicante, Spain, he was raised by a single mother after his father died in a car accident. His mother was a former police officer whose father served in the Second World War as part of the Blue Division. Together with him, they raised him to be responsible, loyal and patriotic. He was often reported to be protective and kind to others. He tended to be stubborn at times but he did his best and owned his mistakes when he committed them. 


He was like this until he met his adopted sister, Camila. He looked after her long haired, green eyed and one-legged younger sister as much as he could. He sometimes skipped classes just to check on his sister as she studied in the nearby high school. Often, that got him into trouble but he managed to pass and finally entered the Spanish Army to support his family.


Santiago was a member of the 1st Division "San Marcial" in Burgos. There, he was trained to be a machine gunner for his old squad. He was an NCO thanks to his own efforts and the recommendation of his commanding officer, his uncle. From then on, he was transferred to the 1st Spanish Legion Tercio "Gran Capitán". 


He first went under their ruthless training and earned his place among them when he saved a few Legionaries against orders to remain in the training base when they were under attack by North African insurgents. In addition to this, he and the rest of the Spanish Legion were deployed to Afghanistan to combat Taliban insurgents until 2014. After this, he was sent to Iraq and Syria to help local forces battle the Islamic State.

Eventually though, they too suspected foul play and corruption in the air. They also fled their posts because they feared the potential things that the aliens could do to their country. They feared that the aliens would destroy Spain and so, after much discussion and argument, they decided to go for it.

While he wanted to go back home and get his family out of Spain, he feared that they were dead and that he could be captured for desertion. So he and many of the Legionaries went AWOL and harassed all forces that tried to capture or kill them in the deserts of North Africa. They were then found by Griffon and taken in.

For now, Santiago is trying to accept his new life as a rebel while finding a way to contact his lost family. His sister, his mother and his grandfather.

Personality: Santiago is loyal and cool headed. He enjoys socializing with others and can get along quickly. He prefers to work in support of his team and doesn't like it when they get hurt or lost. He does his best to cover them and personally does his best to support each one of his team mates.
