Penelope listened as Crow explained that he had spoken to Mia and knew what the barons were planning for him. Noticing him clench his hands at his side, she moved to rest her hand on his, both as a way to comfort him as well as seeking some comfort for herself. She had spent most of the day trying to figure out a way to get Crow out of the punishment but had come up with nothing so far. As he went on with a bit more hope, she blinked, surprised to learn that not only had Crow proposed such a deal but that her baroness had approved of it. It sent a small wave of relief over the knight to know that there was still a way for him to be safe from losing his hands. The only downside was that it wasn't very solid. Even if Mia liked the idea, that didn't mean that she'd be able to convince the other two barons, especially since it came to dealing with Crow who was loathed by quite a few of the knights. Still, it was better than nothing. Plus if anyone could convince the other two barons, it would definitely be Mia, who she knew to be quite skilled in both arguing as well as manipulating. "That's good.." she mumbled with a soft sigh. Leaning down, she pressed a kiss to his forehead. Though she felt a bit relieved that there might be a way out of this mess, her expression was still riddled with worry as she looked down at him. "I hope she'll be able to convince the other two barons and I'll help her argue with them as much as I can then but..." The knight hesitated and lowered her gaze. "Crow, what if she can't do it?" she asked in a quiet voice. Penelope met his gaze again. "I've been trying to think of a way around this whole mess but I just.. I can't. I don't know what else we can do... What can we do? What can I do?"
