Those effects are characteristic to those weapons; she would need to get additional equipment to be able to do that. However, in a future level up, instead of a new Power you could apply for a new Strength called, say, Engineering Mastery, which gives her Dell's mechanical knowledge, with which she can make those weapons herself.
