Muu stopped in her steps as she realized the true size of their prey. It was huge. Not just huge, but huuuge! Way bigger than she, and likely anyone else had expected. And, once again, doubt set into her mind. How were they supposed to deal with this thing? Should they just run? What could she do? What could her weapon do? Was she simply useless?

To make matters worse, it looked like the monstrosity had already set sights on a target that was not her. Muu wasn't even aware of its front view and the gargantuan maw that could easily swallow a horse whole. "Urgh..." Nonetheless, she had to do something. Anything. Shaking her head, the girl now rushed forward. Closer and closer. Clenching her fist hard enough on the hilt of her weapon that her knuckles turned white, she tried to pierce the slimy outer skin of the toad's hindleg.
