David spent the rest of the schoolday avoiding Jakki and her no doubt many questions. On the other hand he also didn't get the chance to talk to Daisuke, but there was always the next day. As soon as school ended he rushed to his bike and rode straight to home. The ride home was slightly longer then the ride to the pizzeria he took during lunch, but since David was going as fast it took him less time. When he got home he was completely out of breath, but at least he could be reasonably sure Jakki wouldn't bother him here. After catching his breath David put his bike in the shed in the backyard and entered the house through the back door. As always the first thing David did once inside was letting his mother know he was home. "Hey mom I'm home!" There were actually two reasons for this, the obvious one was to tell his mother, but the other one was that this way he could immediately check if she was there or not. Since he didn't get an answer it meant that at least for now he was home alone and thus could basically do whatever he wanted.Whatever he wanted in this case was use the computer and see what he could discover about time travel.
