Go right on ahead. The others haven't arrived yet, so spots are still open. As for your question, more details are in the 1st post, but to summarize, it's like a college and a research facility rolled into one. On the matter of age, you'll find that mages don't really care much about age but ability. 

I'm allowing 12-21 year old characters, but only if it's within reason, respective to their ability and actions.
