[u][b]Personality:[/b][/u] Hye normally is a calm and pretty chill guy, often preferring to keep his own thoughts to himself and avoiding any type of 'unnecessary trouble' he possibly can, going as far as to give him the reputation of being lazy. Despite this fact, on stressful, dangerous situations or when given a 'task' by the family head, he will focus solely on the task at hand and it's completion. Due to being a very logical person often favoring efficiency over a specific mean to attain his 'objective' some of his actions may be considered cold.

Despite his penetrating and intimidating stare, Hye is actually a rather pleasant person to hang out with if you manage to get closer to him. Staying true to his reputation, Hye can be found often reading books, playing games, listening to music or simply relaxing when he is not training. Despite his lean and muscular body, he does have a surprising appetite and enjoys eating good food.

[u][b]Abilities:[/b][/u] Hye was born with an extremely average amount of magic circuits but with an unusually high quality. Normally that would be enough to give him a very good potential as a mage but unfortunately, he was born with defective magic circuits. Unable to use most types of magic. Due to this, Hye is incapable of using any other spells other than the very specific techniques he specialized himself with.

    [*] [i]Pressure Points:[/i] Normally one would use this for oriental medicine, they can be used with great effect to incapacitate opponents. Differently from the silly movies and myths, there is no such thing as a 'death touch' as all of those techniques are mostly useful to incapacitate a target. It's use in actual fighting is actually something much less 'flashy' than what common martial art myths show them. Overall, these techniques focus on striking certain points of the human body such as certain spots on the heat (the temple for example), the throat, the nose & etc.
Hye can also use these techniques coupled with his knowledge in order to temporarily disable another mage's magic circuits by striking specific nerves on a mage's body with a series of quick and precise blows. Although really good to incapacitate a mage, Hye actually needs to get close to said mage and perform a series of consecutive strikes.
    [*] [i]Short Blades[/i] Hye is a specialist in using short bladed weapons like knives, daggers & etc. Be it throwing them or not.

    [*] [i]Self Reinforcement:[/i] Despite it's name, this spell was created with both Reinforcement, Thought Acceleration and Memory Partition in a very basic level. By using this he is able to 'reinforce' his own body in order to become noticeably faster, slightly stronger, improve his senses and his reaction speed. Although it noticeably raises his stamina, it doesn't make him more durable, resistant to pain or damage. Due to this and the fact that it puts a heavy strain on his muscles and mind when using it for a long time, he needs to use this technique carefully.
    [*] [i]Mental Interference:[/i] Hye is able to use a very limited and very basic form of a mental interference spell to disorientate one target on his line of sight for a brief moment. While it's completely harmless, it's able to make the target hear small sounds that he actually didn't hear, think he saw something that he actually didn't or make he believe he saw nothing when he actually did. All of those effects fade incredibly quickly though. One example of how Hye uses it is by making the target believe he disappeared for a brief second, making a 'flicker' type visual illusion for half a second to a second at max in order to allow him to get closer to his opponent or make his opponent lose sight of him for a second.

[u][b]History:[/b][/u]
Born out of an affair between a member of the Kyou family and a non mage from outside of the family, Hye never received the same attention or even the same care that a member of the main family would receive. Known for being incredibly strict, the Kyou family has a history of being incredibly cold even with their own members in order to create powerful mages. Hye, despite his non mage mother, was still the son of a powerful mage from the head family. Due to that, he had high expectations put on him. 

Unfortunately, despite exhaustive training, he was deemed a failure in magic when he showed absolutely no aptitude for it. The only thing that saved him from being immediately kicked out of the main family and hidden from the world in order to not stain the family's honor was the fact that he had unusually high quality magic circuits, despite being defective. That being, he still had uses to the Kyou family in order to hunt mages that could put the family in danger and generally just do the 'dirty' work the main family wouldn't do and as such, he immediately began training combat techniques that would be effective in taking down other mages.

Being unable to turn away their eyes from Fusang who was in the spotlight of both the world of the mages and non mages, the Kyou family finally started extending their reach towards said city. Due to Hye's high quality magic circuits, the Kyou family sent him to Fusang to have a political marriage to a female mage of a less powerful family in order to have an opportunity to put their feet on Fusang without alerting other rival families. Tired of being treated merely as a pawn to the main family, he immediately contacted one of the other families he was suppose to keep an eye on and sent them a proposal to sell some information he knew about the Kyou family. After receiving a rather decent sum of money, enough for him to start a new life, he simply disappeared, cutting off all communication with the main family.

To the Kyou family, Hye's disappearance was a thorn in their sides for many reasons other than the amount of money they had to pay the family Hye sold their information to keep their mouths shut. If they started to actively search for him, the other families would be aware of what happened and would try to contact him in order to use him against them. Other than that, there was also the fact that it would stain their image and their pride even more if such thing became public. As such, the best option was to simply turn a blind eye and erase every record that the main family had about Hye. In other words, completely erase any proof of his existence from their family records.

[u][b]Other:[/b][/u]
Hye is able to live comfortably using the money he received by selling information from the Kyou family in a small, but comfortable apartment he bought for himself and pay for his studies. Despite that, he still does a few odd jobs when he needs money, including tutoring other mages due to his knowledge.
Hye speaks Japanese and Korean fluently. His english, although very good still has a deep accent.
