Thankfully, when it goes down from having to account for an entire faction in a post, to just one person(after all the background NPCs fade away), my writings tend to get shorter. Part of me just likes painting word pictures. Comes from being a professional writer, I suppose. Please don't worry, I can understand the overwhelming, I tend to just match whatever is suitable after an intro, since usually as I said, you have to account for initially getting into the character's mindset, but from there its just, follow the flow.

Though summoning Caster is going to be broken up into 1-3 posts, depending on how far our planning ends up going. Because looking back, I could have broken up the intro into three, for scene changes. Also helps I don't have to do any worldbuilding lol
