Penelope was glad that Crow gave approval of the plan, even if he wasn't fond of the details. The knight still felt a bit bad about having to use it. It was bad enough that the thief had been stuck listening to their plans over the course of the last two weeks since John was insistent on guarding him and obviously didn't see any issue discussing them around Crow. Even though it was just to fool her father, she still doubted it was easy for him to see her with Gavin and plan a future with him. As he pressed a kiss to her lips, she closed her eyes and met his lips with a hint of eagerness. When he pulled back, she gave a small nod at his words. "I'll speak to them as soon as I can then." she told him. The knight gave him an apologetic look and reached up to caress his cheek. "Sorry I have to use this whole wedding thing as an excuse... But with any luck, now we won't have to part for a while. We'll just have to be a bit careful sneaking around my father." She leaned up and pressed another quick kiss to his lips. As she pulled back, another thought came to her. "By the way," she met his gaze with a hint of curiosity. "what are you going to do about your companions? They'll probably get worried waiting so long for you to return.." In fact, Penelope guessed that they probably already were. It had been nearly three weeks after all and she hadn't visited them to give them updates. The most she did was tell Olivia to inform them off his progress about a week ago.
