Fin. Also yay for destruction! ^_^
Name: Zane Wulfe Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Year: Second Year Rank: Journeyman Room No.: Personality: Named as the Second Coming of the Insane Inventor, Zane is obviously a few cards short of a deck. A slight pyromaniac (then again what magic user isn’t?), and with little sense of self preservation when experimenting. He has little patience for lazy or irritating people, who often are on the receiving end of the ‘Evil Tome', but can be quite affable to people who share in his love of magic and learning. Magic Discipline: Existence The name of the game is enhancements. His primary utilization of magic is in multiplying the innate abilities of people or items in contact with him. He can go up to five times the inital ability though the higher multipliers are far more mana intensive. He also cannot multiply the abilities of someone magically stronger than him. His secondary magic is in imbuing enchantments into objects. An incredibly lengthy task, he first has to carve runes to the effect he wants before bathing it in his magic for up to a day to get the energy to click. Equipment: {Bag o' Holding} Spatial Magic at it's finest. A satchel with an interior size of three cubic meters and a weight reduction of seven to one. Useful for carrying stuff. {Wulfe Grimoire} also known as the Evil Tome, a book enchanted to never run out of pages. Somehow always stays the same size, about your average bible, and has a use as a notebook, a journal, and as something to beat people round the head with. {Deck of Many Explosions} Started out as an attempt to make a Deck of Many Things, but the cards kept exploding due to the arrays being too complex for the medium. So he decided to make it a self refilling pack of magical grenades instead. After all, explosions are awesome! {School Supplies} Biography: The university thought they were shot of Stone's madness. Honestly they figured he'd blow himself up before he had a chance to reproduce. So imagine the swearing among the masters at the college when he showed up with a student ten years after graduating and vanishing off the face of the earth. Rumours abounded about this student, how he was the bastard son of Stone, that he was an experiment that he took a liking to, that he was an eldritch abomination sealed inside a human body. The truth of the matter was far more disturbing. Apparently this apprentice was a normal kid who sought out Stone as a teacher. Zane Wulfe was the son of a blacksmith and discovered his magic quite by accident. When he was twelve he tapped into the power of Existence and multiplied his strength twofold, breaking the hammer he was using... and the bones in his hand. After he recovered, he began to experiment with this power in secret, trying to test whether it was a fluke. Whilst studying anatomy at the library, trying avoid a repeat of his first foray, he came across his future master. The two began to chat, Zane drawn in by the man's surreal way of explaining magic, as well as the joking way he talked about his ‘old goat' of a master and how he'd be rolling in his grave. This was made even more amusing when he revealed the old man was still alive and kicking. They continued to have on and off discussions for the course of a year, before what the masters at B.U.M. now call the Dreaded Day. Having reached the limits of what he could do with his magic without a teacher, Zane reached out to the Mage he trusted the most. At that moment, a collective shudder passed through the professors who had instructed Stone, like an unspeakable evil was approaching. Of course, when nothing immediately happened, they lowered their guard, thinking it to be a figment of their imagination. Three years later, the demon himself arrived along with his apprentice. Apparently he thought it'd be good for his apprentice to spend time around fellow mages in his age group. Zane was admitted with the proviso that Stone never set foot on campus grounds. It didn't stop their headaches, but it did prevent evolution to full on migranes. Master: Odin Stone If [Zane] was forced to sacrifice something important in order to move forward, it would be: Probably an arm or a leg. If [Zane] was offered to have a single wish fulfilled, it would be: to surpass Master Stone as a magical inventor
