Virtue: Responsibility | The world failed her. I lost her, so I'll bring her back. Magic: In Her Presence | Kasumi treasures every memory spent with her sister, and can manifest it into the world as a pulse of light, originating from her clasped hands. Anyone that comes into contact with the pulse will be healed. The more precious the memory, the more powerful the healing is. Each time this ability is cast, the memory used gets just a little fainter. My Thousand Worries Weep Away | Clenching her fist hard enough to break skin, the drawn blood flows into the shape of a rose then crystallizes. The deeper the wound, the larger the flower. Anyone that ingests its petals will feel a surge of power flowing through their veins, granting immense pain resistance and enhanced physical capabilities. The rose has only one thorn, protruding from the center of the petals. Said thorn is unusually large and sharp, resembling the blade of a knife. History: Kasumi was born to a fairly affluential family, being born 2 years after their first daughter, Mizuki. Naturally, the two became inseparable. Kasumi looked up to her elder sister and never really made friends in her own age group, though she did get along reasonably well with her sister’s friends. However, when Kasumi was 13, tragedy struck as Mizuki began to feel ill. Her health took a rapid, unexplainable downturn and she fell into a deep coma that no one could rouse her from. Kasumi became borderline catatonic, barely paying attention to the world around her. She began to drift from the world, fading into the background. A few months later, that changed when the resident class weirdo had started to talk about some strange things, about creatures from another realm that would steal away people’s souls for some nefarious purpose. While dismissed by the other class members as being another one of her wild conspiracy theories, Kasumi took notice. If that girl knew more, perhaps she could find a way to save her sister. After school, she stayed behind to talk with the other girl and using a little gentle persuasion, had learned absolutely nothing. In a foul mood, she left to the hospital to visit her sister. No progress, no changes, absolutely nothing. The hospital staff were worthless, the girl was worthless, everyone was worthless. When she returned home that night, she caught a glimpse of something outside her window. On a whim, she grabbed the scarf that her sister knitted for her all those years ago, and went for a walk. She left behind her phone, wallet, almost everything. Just the scarf and the clothes on her back as she walked through the eerily quiet streets of Kaigo City. Eventually, she tired and found a place to sit in a bus stop. While she hadn’t noticed because of her movement, it was an oddly cold night. Wrapping herself in the scarf, she closed her eyes and began to drift away. It was then that she heard a voice right besides her, a Keeper. She learned about Vices, and about the girls that fought against them. At that moment, she knew what needed to be done. The others couldn’t do anything, of course they couldn’t. They lacked the power, so she would obtain it, through any means necessary. She would need to do it with her own two hands, to find the Vice that stole her sister and bring her back. It had to be possible, her sister used to say that nothing was impossible, and she was never wrong. She couldn't be wrong. Other: Has a special designer jacket that she wears often. Her sister had a matching outfit.
