James frowned. But, he kept his mouth shut. He didn't want to anger her father. Sure, his title and vast wealth and such opened the door, but his behavior could have it slammed in his face, so to speak. he had to be careful. However, he already had the ring in his pocket. He just had to wait for the ok from her father, which could take a little while. Anyway, he just waited for everything, for her father to decide a date, for the right moment to propose formally, etc. He had to be patient. He kept an eye out though, his protective nature was something her father could approve of, he hoped. 





Elizabeth blinked 'so soon?'she thought. However, she found herself rather relieved. It would all be over with soon.
