Of course he might be rejoining as a new god. I think we need one of knowledge, devilry, metals/forging, etc. So there's a lot of options left open if Dirka can't come back as a goddess of magic. Of course she COULD come back and their could be a whole divide amongst your mortal followers.

Your gods could make a treaty to you know. Maybe have you god [@Archangel89], lord over ordered magic, like ritual and incantation magic, and maybe have Dirka [@Dealdric], lord over wild and untamed magic (think chaos magic from D&D).
