Husks of men once alive stride the earth, shambling, wretched abominations. They are joined by creatures man was not meant to see, abominations that twist and bend sanity and light around them, snuffing out hope like matchsticks tossed into a cavern. Foul beasts, corrupted and twisted from their once-innocent origins as normal wildlife and even humans, taking the guise of friendly faces all attempt to bring humanity to its demise.

There can be hope though. A single light may yet illuminate the darkness, and one spark may light a bonfire that turns the rising tide of horror scampering into the holes from which it came. But... Rising up is never easy. Those brave fools who raise their hands to strike the evils that haunt these lands may well find their bodies broken and their minds shattered.

This will be an RP based off of games such as Bloodborne and Darkest Dungeons, with influences from classic H.P Lovecraft horror stories and some parts of Warhammer Fantasy. Taking the roles of individuals skilled enough in matters as simple as swinging a sword, or as esoteric as the precise incantations required to expel unwanted souls from corpses, somehow the churning apocalypse must be driven back... But at what cost?
