Penelope crossed her arms over her chest and waited silently by the door. The knight shifted as time went on, wondering what was going on behind the closed doors. Her curiosity grew as time went on and she began to fidget slightly. She hoped Crow was alright. Although, judging from the lack of any yelling, she supposed he must be handling himself rather well in front of the man who had abandoned his family all those years ago. After a short time passed, the door opened again and Penelope quickly pushed herself off the wall to stand up straight as she waited for Crow and her father to exit the room. The first who stepped out was Crow and she took a step towards him before quickly stopping herself. As much as she wanted to hurry to his side and take his hand, she couldn't do so when they were near so many nobles and the king no less. So instead the knight kept a small distance between them and shifted with uncertainty as looked over at him. His expression threw her off a bit. Penelope had been expecting the thief to look more upset after speaking to his father but instead, he looked more dazed than anything. Exactly what did they talk about in there? she wondered, frowning faintly. In the next moment, her father stepped out behind Crow. Though he wore his usual stoic expression, she detected a small hint of annoyance in his eyes. Glancing between them she shifted a bit closer. "So... How did it go?" she asked tentatively.
