The explosive shield slammed into her with all the force of the attacks it had absorbed, and if she'd been anything but a Striker it would have certainly ended badly. She did manage to shield herself from the blast a little bit, but she was still injured and flying through the air with little in the way of recovery. Her momentum was stopped, not by the solid concrete side of a wall, but by another pair of arms as R.R. caught her and helped her to her feet. Lucia stood shakily for a moment as she tried to get a feel for her injuries. Nothing was broken, a few places ached where she'd taken the brunt of the explosion, and she was winded, but otherwise she was none the worse for wear. Still, though... that shield was a problem. For all her finer points, Lucia knew she was on the whole a one-trick pony; she generated energy and used it to smash things. Against a defense like that, which she could only assume would come back whenever the Invader wanted, she wouldn't be much help offensively. That didn't mean she was dead weight though. Once she was ready to move again, Lucia started running back toward the fray, circling wide in a clockwise direction to make sure she stood in the Big One's path if it decided to go after the Gunners or the Linkers assailing it. "I'll hold the frontline," she said over the comms as she called her sword and an energy shield to her hands, "Anybody using ranged attacks, stay behind me!"
