Vincent nodded in understanding to Ratte's first statement. In regards to her second statement, he simply gave a soft smile in return. While he wanted to remain in control of everything, Ratte seemed like she had things under control for herself, and wanted to keep it that way. She knew how the game worked. "Smart woman." He said simply, his compliment having at least a hint of sincerity. In regards to the smokes, he gave a light shrug at Ratte's reply. "Fair explanation. No judgement here." He said, closing up and pocketing the carton. Once Ratte stood up and held out her hand, Vincent stood up as well and shook hers firmly. "Likewise, it is a pleasure having you here." His red eyes stared deep into Ratte's, before he parted from her, walking towards his chair. After taking a seat, he continued watching over the club, seeing it pulse with activity. "Do take care to remember my words carefully, Ratte." He said, taking a drag from his cigarette. "I am a man of my word. I take very good care of investments that return with good results." He leaned back, crossing his legs and bringing his arms down, his executive look in full force contrasted with the whole club in front of him. "Until next time, Ratte." The scrawny vampire guard walked up to Ratte, prepared to escort her out of the room. Once she followed him, he would see her out through the steel door she came in. By then, she was alone again, at the top of the steps in Club Shadowfell.
