[@DocRock] I actually do this all the time, and have done it for years, on other websites that I role-play on. I like to continue the progress of my characters. One and done characters are fine too since it allows me to explore a lot more possibilities. 

Reading some of the replies to you above, it saddens me that this is becoming a lost art.
