Cassius's head shot up from his bag when he heard the inhuman war-horn sound off - his next instinct is to immediately grab Maren by her head and force her down behind cover to protect her from possible archer fire. He waits a moment before peeking over the edge, firmly keeping the noblewoman still as he does so. Only when he realizes that the orcs aren't trying to storm the city - rather, they're driving some of the Karsusians to flee - does he let go of Maren and slowly rise from his crouch to watch the chaos unfold below. Orcs don't usually act in such a coordinated manner; they rely on strength in numbers moreso than tact, yet... He continues to observe in puzzled silence as he sees boar riders weaving through each other, spearing and trampling the Karsusians in a brutal dance of death, fire threatening to burn them all to a crisp if they don't move.
