[hider=Daniel Devyat: One of Nine] Name: Daniel Devyat Physical Attributes: Daniel is a scruffy child, all limbs and angles. His hair is dirty blonde and his eyes are a chilling, icy blue. His skin is grey like ash. The odd thing is his torso is decorated in perverted runes that seem to writhe. Daniel is all too thin, almost unnaturally so and yet he moves like liquid shadow, smooth, silent, and serene. He is twelve or so. Mental Attributes: Daniel is is tempered by an unshakeable sense of dread that creeps at the edges of his consciousness and acts somber and formal most of the time. He holds no fear of the things that creep beyond the light and has an otherworldly intelligence and perception that warps his mind. He often has moments where he can be rather cold, or downright uncaring and dark. He often snaps out of it and sometimes doesn’t remember what he just said or has done. The few times he remembers these bouts of what can only be a personality shift he becomes racked with an all consuming guilt. Daniel is an artistic soul at his core and loves to sit down to play his viline, though his music is rather… saddening. History: Daniel is one of nine children experimented on to act as vessels for powerful spirits and monsters of the occult. Created to act as not weapons, but a chance at salvation from a twisted sense of faith from a group known only as the Court. Daniel alongside the other eight were to be powerful beings backed by wisdom and intelligence far beyond the years of man’s oldest sages by a cult. He and his “siblings” were pampered and treated like royalty, taught everything from mathematics and science to music, literature, and art. Daniel was less gifted as his fellow children, not as intelligent, and was less thrilled with being humanity’s salvation. The difference being he remembers the family he was torn away from. Not that he misses them, but he despises them as they willingly gave him up to be used to carry out a mission others could easily carry out. Daniel eventually accepted his place as the dying are forced to accept death. He learned at a slower pace than his “siblings” but soon became their equal. He discovered a gift for music and dance, finding an outlet in the art. The cult that raised him let him pursue his outlet thankfully but do not let him spend a lot of time on it. His being transported on the train came from a necessity to the Court, for reasons they would not relinquish. When the dust settles he will find his handlers and guards all dead. How lucky for him.
