[@Malice]Eyup. To start with, it's probably better to think of him as someone that doesn't have powers, and then figure out how he gets things done. If you're going for the idea of 'madman puts other people into deep shit to rescue them himself in order to validate his existence', the ability to tell when someone's going to die isn't totally necessary to the core idea.
