Jacob was rather thrilled his rather meager and measly attempts at breaking the ice were not completely in vain.  Someone did decide to reply to him in a way that he couldn't help but find not only charming but incredibly easy to reply to.  He caught her eyes, pretty cute with a bundle of bushy hair.  Yes, definitely easy to talk too.

She already had her drink so he wasn't going to open on that and she did all the hard work, offering him her hand.  He took it, he didn't shake it, instead merely holding it within his firm hands.  [color=lightblue]"When you put it that way, maybe its not so terrifying.  I appreciate a friendly face."[/color]  he gave her a big grin, pearly whites gleaming back.  One of his best features.  [color=lightblue]"Noemi.  Jacob."[/color]  He introduced himself then, released her hand.  [color=lightblue]"Aside from the oh so elusive favorite person we're all looking for; what kind of places are you thinking this trip will bring us, Noemi."[/color]  He leaned his back against the bar as he looked out over the crowd, the room, admiring the efforts and the splendor.

[color=lightblue]"I'm hoping we see some kind of castle.  Like the ones in Scotland or central Europe.  Somehow, I hope it looks more wondrous then this.  That would be magical."[/color]  He thought to himself out loud before looking back to her for her answer.  [color=lightblue]"I actually didn't really know how to pack for it, so I got a little bit of everything."[/color] It made him look a little less confident but he had a semblance of truth to it.
