Jakki walked home, and went inside after fumbling with her keys for a moment. She hadn't seen Daisuke after this morning, so she still had questions, but decided not to bother with them since he didn't want to answer them apparently. Maybe it was just his brother running around being annoying. She sighed and walked inside, grabbing her bat and heading back outside and locking the door behind her. Her mother wasn't home, so the only reason she had to be there was to grab her bat. She slung it back over her shoulder, feeling better as she did so. It was an old habit and if she pretended that everything was still the same... Jakki shook her head and walked onward towards practice. She felt like she'd hit a wall, she couldn't go through it to get better and she was stuck in the same place using all her same moves. She mainly relied on getting close and hitting vital areas. If they got behind her, she'd have to react quicker than their kick, which more often than not hit her. She was expecting to get hit, of course, but it left such an opening that she ended up on the mat and open for more attacks. She was failing. Just thinking about it made her frustrated, and out of a need to relax, Jakki punched the wall nearest to her. The jarring pain helped clear her mind somewhat. She needed to get better. Dad expected her to be better and stronger, and she was failing.
