Shaula

Shaula had accidentally extinguished the spider in a moment of panic, and the rest of the group didn't look too happy about it. Trevor looked like he had wanted a word with her before the spider attacked him, and Jason yelled at her as though she had extinguished it on purpose. "Oh, you think I don't know that?" She yelled back. "You try fighting a giant, flaming spider when you're made of water, we'll see how you do!" Three small spiders came crawling out of the tunnels nearby to surround the large one, which became cloaked in a dim green light that seemed to protect it from their attacks. Her water wouldn't damage it now, but that wasn't her only weapon. If Orgone could protect her from chemtrails, aliens, and ridiculously high water bills, why couldn't it work on giant spiders, too? Shaula took an emitter from her backpack and pointed it at the spider, sending a wave of Orgone energy at it. The spider, however, couldn't care less. It didn't seem to mind the Orgone at all, though Shaula hadn't really expected it to work; she hadn't made these emitters to fight off giant spiders from twenty feet away. She needed it closer, so she threw the emitter as hard as she could. Rather than hurting the spider, the emitter bounced off and flattened one of the smaller ones. It was difficult to see what had happened in the dim light, but the large spider's green glow gave an unmistakable flicker and dimmed slightly. The Orgone emitter was doing its job. Over by Mia, a ring of light on the ground expanded outward to surround the entire group. As it passed Shaula, she felt her legs begin to reform faster, until she was able to stand up a moment later. She made a mental note to thank Mia later and began throwing more Orgone emitters at the spider, hoping they would be able to kill it.
