I just realized that my characters backstory doesn't exactly match the dates in the OP. I guess I could just say that David's powers are a result of dormant genes passed down to him from his ancestors. Genes that I suppose could have just woke up a bit earlier than 2020, maybe in a very obscure version of what's happened in the RP so far. I'm just offering ideas for how my character's backstory can still be legit even with the somewhat off dates.
