It was a postcard, of San Francisco. She flipped it over to see what it said, weirdly though in her own handwriting it had a date. She had never even been to California before. It clicked after a second that the date was in the past. Far enough in the past that she hadn't even been born yet. She frowned. This was weird. How had it gotten into her room? How had she written a date, that appeared its age, before she had even been born? Niah removed her glove and touched the postcard hoping for a clue. It was disorienting. She could see herself writing on the postcard, a newspaper nearby had the same date. And even though she couldn't make out any other faces she knew that the clothes all made sense for 1984. She was shaking a bit as the vision ended. The question that stuck in her mind the most was how had the postcard gotten into her room. The cameras would have shown something, right? Hoping to see something on the cameras Niah went into technology, holding the postcard.
