Of course. I was thinking about a particular member or group of their society who wants to take back Cyrodiil against the wishes of whatever government they have set up. Make it a sort of internal conflict story with two opposing sides. One that wants to preserve the last remnants of the Ayleid race, at the cost of their former glory, and the other side that wants to reclaim that former glory no matter the cost.
