This is the closest town where everyone is close to right now. This is so you get a sense of the directions you want to go when traveling as well as where your characters are. Each region is broken up in primary categories of elements. 
Nero = Dark 
Vrondi = Light
Fotia = Fire
Tearia = Water
Gaia = Earth & Wind

You can imagine the kind of monsters you might encounter where and decide what you want to do from there.
