In the back of her mind was mostly about the fact her older sisters were unjustly cruel to her. She still remembers exactly what Astra said to her before, the conscription to the war. It caused her to look back on that day for awhile. ”I hate my memory being so focused on what Astra said to me.” Diana thought to herself, with a definite body language of not enjoying something. There is a reason to why she was being mean to Luke, it was an underlying hate that was bellowing deep within her towards her own older sister Astra. In terms, Luke was an easy target for her frustrations. It was a bit easy for her to outright throw Luke under a bus by something her older sister had said to her, which was eating her from inside. However, what he said about Darscens didn’t help, his situation in getting bashed by her in the feels. It was a bit much for her to remember, however, this is the first time she was able to get something to lessen her bitterness towards her older sister Astra. The only thing that was kinda of nice was her older sister’s Susan’s outright apology to what she said when she was 11. In that case, she started to daydream of exactly that before the day, which she left to conscription train for EW1. It didn’t help she was completely unprepared for everything. ”Astra… why did you have to say that?” Diana thought to herself, with a look of utter loss in what’s going on. However, she was still drinking slowly and nursing it.

This was about like two days before she had to go to the Conscription Training Camp, in Southern Edinburgh proper. Diana was called into Astra’s room by Astra herself, and she looked a bit annoyed at the whole situation. Astra had a smirk on her face, while looking at Diana who was going to be shipped off to a war that was have a high causality rate. ”Oh hello Diana, it’s nice of you to come in. I know I called you here.” Astra said with a tone in her voice. It had an odd tone to her as if she was grateful that she will never see Diana again. Astra had the window open, which was foggy that day. ”Oh nice, it’s foggy. Pretty damn thick fog too.” Astra said, with a gleeful smile. Diana couldn’t tell why her sister called her in here but her chatting about fog and her tone of voice was a bit strange to her. ”Astra, what do you want? It’s nice you haven’t said I am worthless yet. You always greet me that way, what’s wrong are you alright?” Diana asked, a bit confused. It was very odd not hearing her sister’s catchphrase to her unless, it has something to do with their mother keeping an eye on Astra and Susan. Her older sister Susan, did say sorry about a day before her getting called to Astra’s room, which was a definitely nice to hear. In terms of what she did when she was exactly 11 years old. Astra laughs at what her little sister had said specifically. It was a bit hilarious, however, she definitely enjoys fog, she always gets a boost of happiness when seeing it. ”There’s a reason why I like fog. It makes me feel enclosed and safe. It’s better to be around people when you cannot see anything. I have a feeling after today, something will change in that little mind of yours. However, there’s one person I absolutely hate being around...” Astra said, with a hint of whom that is. It was obvious who she was talking about certain things. She couldn’t help but hate the fact that Susan apologized for what she had said to Diana. ”Susan is so last century for apologizing to you. She wanted to apologize to you sooner but couldn’t figure out how to apologize. However, she did and that sickens me.” Astra said. She moved to her bed and sits on it and glares at Diana with a bit of an annoyed look to her. Diana heard everything from what her older sister Astra had said, which made her a bit worried in why she’s being so mean yet again. ”Get to the damned point already, sister...” Diana said, with a hint of what her mother would say. It made her a bit shocked she already sounds like her mother even though, she’s not even that old. She shook her head and wanted to apologize but saw Astra’s body language of finally you realize it. ”Why aren’t you surprised?” Diana asked, a bit confused. Astra laughs a bit happily towards her younger sister, Diana’s realization she sounds exactly like their mother Rebecca. However, the only thing that’s different is literally the fact Diana isn’t allowed to drink Alcohol. ”I have a wish Diana… this wish is very important to me. I hope you give me what I want since the only way I will be happy ever again is, if you die in EW1 and never return to bug the living shit out of me. Since I am about to be wed sooner or later. Fuck… why did I say that? Also you better not tell Rebecca I am going to get married or else, I will fucking kill you or haunt you for the rest of your life.” Astra said, with a definite threat towards her sister’s well being. She was definitely serious about the end part of that it seems like she was planning a wedding with someone that her mother Rebecca and possibly her father Gavin will hate. Diana hadn’t thought this was possible, how come Susan can apologize but Astra goes off the deep end and wants her to die in EW1. However, what she had said at the end of that, gave her a big hint of whom she was going to marry. Why Astra was so secretive in everything, it shocked her to the core. ”Don’t tell me, you are planning to marry the people whom we have a feud for a straight 500 years. I will keep this secret, just because you are definitely serious in this bullshit.” Diana said, however, she couldn’t say the word of hate to her sister. It was mostly because she was hopeful she could reconcile with her sister. But the threat to her life definitely terrified her and there was probably a reason she picked a foggy day like today to tell her this. She hadn’t figured out the correct response to why she felt so shit. When her sister told her this specific thing. ”Wow… I think I need to stop calling you worthless for that specific assumption. Yes, I am marrying a Donster to get out of this poverty of wealth family and marrying into Wealth. Because I fucking hate Darscens… Darscens are a bane of my existence. They should go out in a field and be shot by Imperials. I have to say, Sister, If you do come back I won’t ever come back here to talk to you or even Reconcile with you because the Vastergoth Family are a lost cause.” Astra said, finally showing what she kept hidden for so long. It was the hate towards Darscens and why in the hell does she need to make friends with them. In that case, she shows the Yggdist Faith Necklace around her neck and smiles a bit all high and might about this arrangement. Diana was utterly shocked to here specifically everything she had said. It now makes sense, in why Astra’s attitude changed for the worst. She was being brainwashed by the most hated family in Castleton, the Donster Family. ”B-But, sister we aren’t a lost cause… I am done here… I guess that’s why I overheard mother Rebecca, wondering where you were, since you never show up to work since you suppose to work at the Bakery. Astra… I hope you figure out what you are saying is wrong and stop this nonsense...” Diana said. It was the one thing to attack the belief systems of an entire family, which protected Darscens for 500 years only to betray it and join in a family that outright wants to destroy Darscens. It caused her to cry and run out of her sister’s room because it was too much for her to bare any longer.

Diana snapped out of her daydream, when none other than Luke boomed with For the Federation, in terms of him winning the drinking contest. However, she had tears going down her cheek, which was a bit normal for her to do. She constantly did cry all throughout her life. ”For the Federation.” Diana said with a bit of a smile on her face. She saw him fall on the floor and laughed at him. ”Have a nice fall?” Diana asked, curiously. She couldn’t help but jab at Luke since he’s always needed to have a laugh at his expense. She was still nursing her drink though, which was basically full like she was mainly holding it and looking at it. It took her awhile and noticed Luke sitting at a table after his fall, which was a bit funny and blinked a bit at his question. ”I have a feeling, she’ll still drink you under the table… But you’ll probably give her a good run for her money. Like a 51% chance of beating her… before this drinking competition you had I gave you a 90% chance of losing against my mother.” Diana said with a slight smile on her face. Covering up the fact she was outright not enjoying the fact, she wants to tell her older sister Astra she hates her. For what she specifically said, about the entire belief structure of the Vastergoth Family and wanted to marry into money to get out of the middle class. She sat down at the table, which Luke sat down at and sighed a bit. ”I am sorry for what I said, but what you said, compounded me to say those mean things to you. But if you ever get out of line, I will smack that face of yours. Because of what you specifically said, reminded of my Elder Sister Astra, which grinds my gears. Having your entire belief structure destroyed by one of your own family members hurts a bit.” Diana said, sighing at getting this off her chest. In terms she was at a cross roads of so badly wanting to tell her older sister Astra she hates her for every single thing she had done to the Vastergoth’s name by shooting it in the face and laughing at it. It was definitely a hard pill for her to swallow, since because of the whole thing. Diana saw Luke point at her and she sighs again. ”Yeah, I think that’s the best thing to do right now… is to drink my worries away and stop being so frustrated about what my sisters have done to me in the past and look into the future.” Diana said with an annoyed twinge at Luke in terms of what he said. It was obvious she was nursing her drink, however, she decided to stop doing the opposite of what her mother Rebecca would do. She moved her drink to Luke’s mug and toasted. ”Cheers, I guess? I hope we don’t run into anymore fog or my mood is going to be ruined...” Diana said, with a look of depressed feelings. She had a somewhat of a kinda happiness that drinking helped her unlock her feelings. It was a bit strange but her mother Rebecca is a bit more scarier sober than drunk. However, it’s only because she saw her mother drunk at home once, and that was on her sixteen birthday. It was pretty much a shocking thing to see. She had a gleeful smile on her face. ”Hey Ines, what’cha doing?” Diana asked, curiously a bit loudly in the general direction of Ines. She did notice Ines and Franz talking, but she couldn’t really tell what was being said, however. She looks around, however, she did remember that Jean went to his own room. It made her a bit worried for him since he was pretty fucked up, after all. She hoped he was alright because its a time to be a bit jovial than depressed. However, she wasn’t really taking her own advice since, she was depressed about what her older sister had said to her, in terms of her wish. In terms of everything, she starts to cry a bit because she still deeply believes in the Vastergoth Family’s belief system. Remembering what her elder sister Astra specifically said about the entire family as they are a lost caused hurt her deeply in her soul. However, she remembered one thing, she was still wearing her blasted helmet. She sat down her drink and took off her helmet, which uncovered her beautiful blonde hair. Therefore, she got it out of the tight chignon hairstyle and put it into her favorite hairstyle, which is straight. ”This is like the 2nd time I forgot to take off my helmet… the first was when I was literally sleeping on the floor and now. I hate forgetting things.” Diana said, with a slight annoyed tone in her voice. She couldn’t help but enjoy the fact she’s back to how she enjoy wearing her hairstyle, even though it’ll have to go back to how it was when the fighting starts again. In the back of her head, she wanted to know what the masks were used for but that can be known for a later time. The fact of she wanted to get drunk was a bit more important to her to get rid of the feeling of hopelessness she felt in front of her sister Astra all those months ago.
