WIP Kind of surprised by the lack of DF users. So I'm going to change my original concept for the character's abilities now. So just need to figure out what kind of fruit goes well with a showman ^^;
Name: Beets Lemmon Age: 20 Gender: Female Race: Human Rank: Apprentice Appearance: Personality:Beets is an avid reader of fantasy materials, and is probed to flights of fantasy, and many times has trouble seeing the world in moral gray areas. Beets idolizes heroes. To her the highest peak a human can reach is that of creating hope for future generations. She constantly compares herself to the men and women of her stories whom she wants nothing more than to emulate and often finds herself facing despair, though she'd never admit it, if she feels she's not reaching the marks of those great individuals. The desire to be a hero has also created in her a need for the spotlight, and she will go through great lengths to make sure she's the center of attention. Despite all the bravado, Beet's is highly insecure and fearful of the world. Many times she'd like nothing more than to give up and head home to live out her life comfortably on her family's farm. It's only a mixture of pride and a sense of duty which keeps her going. She's also an unabashed pervert, and has little to no real world experience. Background: Beets had a good life, one of the best. Her parents weren't exactly wealthy but they were better off than the majority of people on her island home thanks to the various properties they owned, as well as a large farm that grew mangos. Beets parents were friendly, loving individuals, who though always well meaning, sheltered their daughter far too much for anyone's own good. Though, despite their best efforts, they couldn't keep every trouble away from her. It all started with a poor man who couldn't make his rent, showing up to the family estate with old books he hoped to trade for more time. These books were filled with tales of heroes, villains, and monsters. Not wanting to be mean Beet's parents accepted the trade and moved the books into the attic which Beets quickly discovered and absorbed. Little by little she became obsessed with heroes. Though it was always just a happy fantasy until pirates finally did attack and showed her that not only there was evil in the world, but heroes were needed just the same. When Beet's informed her parents of her plans they were firmly against it, but saw the resolution in the young woman's face, and let her go, but not on her own. They presented her with a devil fruit which a tenant had given them in exchange for a month's rent. They had no idea what it would do, but trusted fate and hoped desperately it would give the girl the luck they couldn't. With a smile she ate the fruit, and with a grimace she kept from throwing it up before telling her parents farewell and heading off to the ship which would take her to where she needed to go.. Skills: Denka-Denka no mi(charge-charge Fruit):This fruit grants the user the ability to "Charge" an area. Which causes charged areas to change color, with the symbol of the charge at the point of the charge's creation. Currently Beets can only do this through coating a part of her body with a charge, direct contact with an object or by a charged object coming into contact with a neutral object. The size of an area can be increased during direct contact. A charge's strength can be altered by will at any point. Currently Beets is unable of changing a marked area's charge at will, but she can hold the charge passively. There are three types of Charges: Circus Style:Beet's own personal martial inspired by various skills observed in circus performers. Kinetic energy moves into the positive charge Negative(-)-Repels negative charges. Attracts positives. Kinetic energy moves out of the negative charge. Neutral(0)- Zero charge. The effected area does not react with any form of charge.
