Most notably a pissed Elder God who had seized control of his body. Deciding that a limited silence was his best option was silence as of current, the rogue wizard kept his tongue in check. After all it did not seem at all as if Chthon was going to be accepting an apology or allow him control. Seeing how the fight had been going until recent, Rhys didn't see that as all to bad a thing. Considering his life and his goals, Arya had been ripped away from him. His revenge, something he had desired for years, had been destroyed by this being. So what did that leave him? He had left the Wizard's Tower from desire and fear. Desire for that coveted position of ExtraOrdinary Wizard. A position he wanted and craved like nothing else. Then there was the fear. Fear born of rage. He had killed his old mentor when a word had been ill spoken about his newly, then, dead mother. A mother he had loved, when he was still capable of it. Love. Was he still capable of it? He supposed so. Else he wouldn't have gone storming off after a Queste for a son he never knew existed. Gone looking for a cure for the apprentice he didn't know was his son yet. Pah, this is why he didn't meander down these roads, they were too... turbulent for his liking. "My dear, not doing stupid things seems to have hit only me in my family." The man admitted, as he gave Runa an annoyed look. "Then again. I may be wrong." He shook his head in annoyance. "Only death cannot be challenged! The wizardress was vanished, not dead and in Valhalla yet! And when we get done shoving this annoying puffed up rooster back to whence he came- or sending to my grandmother to pluck, gods help him- I will prove my point." Jazen rolled his eyes, perhaps it was a foolish notion, but there was nothing in life barring a few things that could not be challenged. "Of course, it's only a theory but there is some reasoning behind it. I'm not quite as daft as you." Grimspound noted with amusement, giving Runa a boyish grin and impish wink. Turning his attention to the host of the grouchy Elder God, Grimspound sighed and limped towards the battle. "Forgive me, Arnora, but I may be doing something stupid." The man noted with a growl, as he attempted to use his magic to snag onto the Elder God and pull him hurtling towards the great green man. While a wall would hurt if this worked, the green man would hit back. Emma had risked a good deal by allowing her to see the girl, but she had needed to see. To make sure the girl was not a threat to the Castle or that she had the Sickenesse. Yes, people were aware of the symptoms and such. But they did not work around the ill and dying every day. To watch hope and life slowly drain away. She had a more imitate knowledge of it, for better or worse. "Could you take me back to the Darke section, please? My apologies for distracting us, but I wished to make sure all was well." She whispered softly, with an apologetic look. Giving the lad a slight bow, she gestured that he should lead her on. Hopefully as well this would go unnoticed by the terrifying Young Army woman. For all the esteem that she had built up, and good will, Skaoi was still terrified of her. "I don't need to sit things out. Mind you, Thalia, I was fighting long before you were a twinkle in your mother's eye." While it wasn't strictly true, he had been fighting before Thalia was. Or at least as far as he knew. "And little girls with hammers are terrifying! Besides the fact, the fights over. We've won. Now I'm going to go find who got 'Grandpa Green-Bean' all riled up and kick their ass back to Ayita's time so she can tear them a new one!" Richard groused. Having shift back to his proper form to say all of that lacking his sister's telepathic nature, the Adder was dusting himself off as he stomped towards the door way. Pausing to give Halley a glare. "Girl, you watch your tone. He may be only half Asgardian, but lest you forget that Asgardians have been beat before by regular humans before. And you- Puppy with the strange hair-" Richard pointed at Cuyler. "Don't challenge things bigger than you. I don't want to explain to whoever your mother is you are dead. I value the pieces of myself, the wife likes." His lecture over, the former assassin stalked off towards the exit to find the trouble and put a stop to it.
