Howdy! Elves do in fact live longer, its something discussed briefly in RF4 with three of the characters. The one female elf you can marry worries about outliving the player, the detective is implied to have lost a partner who wasn't an elf, and the restraunt owner had one it was also implied who died badly. Sorry to be late with a response, I was out the entire day.
