Biography:

Thaerex Azalaera was born in [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Aldera/Legends]Aldera[/url], the capital city of the planet [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Alderaan/Legends]Alderaan[/url], four years before the [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Sith_Empire/Legends]Sith Empire[/url] invaded. However, Thaerex was already long gone before the Sith arrived.  Taken in at birth by the [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Jedi_Order/Legends]Jedi Order[/url], Thaerex grew up on the planet [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Coruscant/Legends]Coruscant[/url], in the halls of the [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Jedi_Temple]Jedi Temple[/url].

When he was ready, Thaerex was taken with the other younglings of his clan to [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Ilum]Ilum[/url] to participate in the [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/The_Gathering/Legends]Gathering[/url], the right of passage in which Jedi construct their lightsaber. Wandering in the dark, Thaerex was made to face himself, his shortcomings, his doubts, personified in the form of a dark warrior who hunted and taunted him through the night. Finally, exhausted, after a sleepless night in the frozen caves, he resolved to face his foe in spite of his fear. And in that moment, a [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Kyber_crystal]kyber crystal[/url] revealed itself to him, a violet light in the shadows.
