Penelope gave a small nod as he guessed that the king would have the supplies sent to his room. She stood up to follow him but barely took a step forward when the door suddenly opened. Peering around the thief, she smiled as she quickly recognized Naida and stepped up besides Crow as she listened to the two speak. The knight gave an amused look at the princess as she admitted to not sticking around to hear everything the king had to say. She turned to Crow as he offered to meet back at his room once she was done speaking with her father. The knight returned his smile and nodded her head. "That works for me... Hopefully speaking to him will go smoothly." she sighed, her smile fading a bit as she thought about approaching her father. Even if the king didn't agree to let him go on the journey with them, she was certain that he'd still give her an earful about 'being careful'. It wasn't a conversation she was looking forward to. "Why wouldn't go smoothly?" Naida asked, blinking in confusion. "Oh you know how he gets... overprotective sometimes." she mused vaguely with a dismissive wave. Penelope gave her friend a smile. "Anyways, I'll hopefully be back for a little longer than just a few days after this trip so we should catch up when I get back." Naida beamed at her words. "Really? That's great!" she grinned. "Oh I can't wait for you guys to get back." Penelope chuckled a little at her enthusiasm and nodded her head in agreement. "Well, I better go find my father so I'll be ready to leave. I'll see you around." she gave a small nod to the two siblings before walking past Naida and stepping back out into the corridor. The female knight took in a sharp inhale and let it out in a long sigh as she headed off to find her father. Let's get this over with... she thought as she walked on down the corridor to where he was stationed for guard duty.
