Biography:
job: works in biogenetic research (mostly focuses on genetic disorders)
house: lives in a small flat close to Pike Place Market which she walks through to get to work)
backstory: one day Emma was working in her lab. her three lab coworkers were out, Kiki was sick, Ashanti had family visiting and had taken the day off, and Lena was on vacation and would return tomorrow. she was walking over to put a test vial into a DNA scanner which was near the window. she tripped when she got there and the vial flew out the window, she leaned out the window and tried to grab it and something shot out of her hand like a black, goopy, rope. it grabbed the vial like a chamelion tongue and she retracted it back into her hand which, to her shock was black now. she put the vial down and walked to a mirror in the supplies closet. and thats how she learned she had powers, easy to control but strange all the same. the next day she told her three friends about what happened and they encouraged her to try heroing (seattle was oddly hero deprived) and she hesitantly said yes. as a hero she mostly only works at night and trys to keep very undercover and not attract press or attention which so far she has managed to do pretty well.

    and then she got the request. she and her small group of researchers (her 3 close friends, the only people who know what REALLY happened to her that day in the lab) were requested by the research center to move to someplace called Bell Reach where they could do some more research with the aid of the major tech companies there. the request was met with a certain lack of enthusiasm by Emma, she liked her current live very much and was not excited to leave Seattle where she had spent all her life even if it was only for a year or so nevertheless she wasn't going to turn it down just because she didn't want to leave, it was important to her research. so she got her friend Adam to watch her apartment, packed up her stuff, said goodbye and left.

Personality: very friendly and extremely nice. shes a good talker, listener, and advice giver as well as being easygoing, she has a good sense of humor and is the kind of person you would want on a road trip (trust me on this one even if it confuses you im not going to explain it).Skillset:
