He didn't know too much about the girl or why the CHS was so interested in her, but he had overheard some pieces of gossip. The walls in this building were thin and as Emma glanced back at Skaoi, she seemed so nice and sweet he couldn't help but confess something. "Can you keep a secret, miss?" Emma asked, as they reached the Darke section of the Manuscriptorium. Some of these books, if opened, would shriek and scream due to the Charms that had been used on them. Emma hated being in this place, but there was something he wanted to get off of his chest. "I-I overheard Ms. Rincewind speaking with the CHS a few weeks ago..." Emma paused for a moment. Ms. Rincewind in this case didn't refer to the ExtraOrdinary Wizard, but instead the Castle Alchemist - Arya's mother. "They were talking about the ExtraOrdinary... I think the CHS knows something important about her... Something about her, y'know, wellbeing." Wizard Way - [@eclecticwitch] Wizard Way - a bustling and busy street in the southwestern portion of the Castle. This beautiful road directly connects the Castle's two most important locations: Wizard Tower, a gorgeous silver building that seems to take on a purple haze, and the Palace, home of the Queen of the Castle. Along Wizard Way there is also the Manuscriptorium, essentially a mixture between a business and a library. The knowledge of the Castle and the Small Wet Country Across the Sea is located here, guarded by specially trained scribes. Of course, Wizard Way also conveniently has a stable near the Gothyk Grotto. This store is where those kids in their rebellious phase, wanting to mess with the Darke and break their parents hearts, go to gather. Mona's horse will be able to stay here for the night. In order to leave the Castle, you would need to go over the drawbridge and since the sun has set, those bridges won't be lowered again until first light. She'll have to stay in the Castle. Witch's Road - [@FantasyChic] Fleur will notice that the Sickenesse seems to have left her. In fact, it has left everyone with Magykal abilities. Her efforts on the Witch's Road, combined with the battle in the real world at Wizard Tower, had weakened the Elder God considerably. She hadn't just found a cure for the Sickenesse - she had destroyed it. The Elder God, for the moment, seemed to be at her and Wanda's mercy. "It was to break free of my prison," Chthon answered her cryptically. "What you call the Sickenesse... I call an extension of my being. An attempt to leave my world and enter yours. And bah! I was Summoned!" A memory would then come to the front of Fleur's mind - Jadis' efforts to call on Chthon at the Port Witch Coven House. Jadis had failed to hold that power for herself, but it would make sense now to Fleur. Jadis had been successful in bringing out Chthon. She had unleashed a portion of him into the world. The Sickenesse was a part of the Elder God attempting to break through, using Magyk users in an attempt to get a host. But none of them had lasted - and some had died from his attempts at manifestation, from the Sickennese. Wizard Tower - 20th Floor Landing - [@BlueSky44][@LadyRunic] Runa turned her head, looking at the pesky mortal who continued to so openly insult and challenge her. He continued to act as if he knew better, treating only her like this and not her husband. In her long lifetime, she had dealt with more than a few sexist pricks and she did not have any notion of entertaining these slights. "Give me a moment, cousin," Runa said. She turned her weapons on Grimspound for a moment and a blast of darkness went out, hitting him and sending him flying off of the tower in the same manner as Ahote. "If you would like, young one, I can teach you," she then offered Arnora with a smile. She really liked the girl. It probably helped that she had such a distaste for the young man she had just sent flying off a twenty story drop. As for Rhys, Chthon was reckless and chaotic, but not stupid. GOODBYE, the Elder God told him, before abandoning his host. Rhys was solidly beaten by those in Wizard Tower and Chthon had come no closer to securing Halley. There was no sense in continuing to inhabit a feeble and broken form. Rhys' features would then return to how they had been before Chthon possessed him, the beaten ex-Wizard looking pitiful on the staircase. "...Chthon is gone," Runa said, recognizing the signs. She was worried, however. The Elder God was probably looking for a new host - and there were dozens of people in Wizard Tower for him to choose from. Wizard Tower - the Great Hall - [@BlueSky44][@KazAlkemi][@Nallore][@LadyRunic][@FantasyChic] Banner nodded, taking the cloak from Nova and he tied it around his waist like a towel. It covered up all of the important bits, so it was better than nothing. It was a shame that Astrid didn't have her powers, as she could have summoned something for him. However, there was a blur of silver and suddenly, Banner was fully clothed. Marya smirked from the corner and waved at him, and Banner nodded in thanks. "Everything hurts but... I'm fine," Myrus said softly. He didn't know if they should go or stay, but he didn't want to leave Valda here by herself. He really wanted to be around his big sisters at the moment - both of them. "I don't want to go if Valda is staying," he said, sounding like he was whispering but it was because of the pain in his throat. "Hey, can someone help?!" Antonije called out, before he paused for a moment. He coughed a bit and his eyes seemed to glow for a moment, as if some dust or something had gone into them, but then he shook his head like nothing had happened. He was still holding little puppy Sylvi, hoping one of the Magyk users could come and help. "Tetka... Please?" he called out to Myth. Halley stared at Richard for a moment, before she just laughed in his face. "I'm older than you are. And I don't need to take orders from some time displaced mutant," she told him quite frankly. She then turned to look at Cuyler for a moment. "But, by all means! You both are right. In fact, I'll arrange for you to have an arena match with my grandfather, Cuyler. No weapons, of course, since you clearly are powerful enough to hold your own. I'll even have Brucey blip back to the twenty first so that way we can have some popcorn to watch with." The Mistress of Chaos smirked at them for a moment, as if she was saying your move. She then looked at her siblings for a moment. "I'll go find Mum and Dad," she told them, before heading out into the entranceway after Richard. Out in the main entrance way, the Floor had a message for them, but it lacked its usual rainbow colors and cheek: But back inside the Great Hall, something extraordinary and unexpected happened - Myth's water broke. Wizard Tower - the Courtyard - [@BlueSky44][@KazAlkemi][@LadyRunic] Rainbrook shook his head slightly at Zekarra. His own problems could wait. Ahote looked like he was in bad shape, though thankfully Zekarra had managed to heal him. He then glanced up, seeing someone else start to fall from the top of the tower and Rainbrook grimaced. This wasn't how he had been told the versions of events would go at all. And who was throwing people out of windows? Casting a spell, Rainbrook looked up at Grimspound and managed to slow his descent for the most part, causing the half Asgardian to hit the ground and only break a few ribs, rather than die. "Someone's angry up there..." Rainbrook muttered.
