Angel sighed. She hated to correct them on something, but she felt that she had to do so now.
"I never leave town. I never feel safe enough to do so."
She shrugged a bit. She took a breath and took a sip of tea. 
"I did...think about having pets, but I have always been so busy with my job, I could never go looking."
She let out another sigh. She shook her head.
"Sorry for sounding depressing. Anyway, I am sure a new rancher will come along soon. At least, I hope so."
