I might be remembering wrong, but until my mum informs me otherwise, my first Sonic the Hedgehog game was the (for some reason despised?) 2005 Shadow the Hedgehog game. I don't remember how old I was, but I was definitely [i]not[/i] the recommended age. I loved it to bits, and if I ever got the chance to play it again, I would probably enjoy it [i]even more[/i] because I was fucking awful at it.

(but now that I think about it, maybe it was Sonic 06? well it was either Shadow or 06. either way I know I played the so-called 'shittiest' titles before touching the originals haha)
