He had hard time making any friends at first, he was the New Kid after all. It didn't help that he was often chatting with animals like dogs, cats, or squirrels and was thus labeled the Weird Kid early on. But Vic never really minded it, if the other kids didn't want to be friends, then he'd be friends with the local stray animals and pets. But after a few weeks of living in Twoson, something ominous happened. Little black creatures started coming out of the shadows and caused people to start going missing at an alarming rate. When Vic's own parents disappeared, he frantically searched town, hoping to find some kind of sign. While searching town, he met two other kids who were also looking for their parents. One was Terrence, an almost barrel-chested boy about a year older than Vic himself. He apparently lived on a farm outside of town. The other kid was Ashley, or Ash as she preferred, was around Vic's age. A sort of tomboy, Ash hated doing "girl stuff", instead having fun taking apart things so she could rebuild them or use the parts to make her own inventions. The trio found themselves under attack by the black creatures, and while Terrence had some strength from doing chores on a farm and Ash her various inventions... it was Vic who ultimately became the hero to everyone's surprise. This was when his PSI truly manifested for the first time, and between them the trio were able to successfully fend off the creatures. Something else arrived shortly thereafter. Stubby little creatures calling themselves Moogles. They set to work helping set up defenses against the creatures that they called Heartless. Vic, Ash, and Terrence quickly befriended the Moogles and did what they could to help. But soon a large Heartless, looking like a fearsome suit of armor the size of a building, began wreaking havoc in Twoson. The kids were understandably terrified, and yet Vic began walking right toward the Heartless. He was still afraid, but he refused to let that fear keep him from doing the right thing. When the giant Heartless attacked, Terrence and Ash came to Vic's defense but were too late. Vic was hit hard, his left arm broken and useless. That was the moment they all realized that they had become friends, and having friends looking out for him gave Vic a newfound strength he didn't have before. A strange Key-shaped sword appeared in Vic's hand the trio once again defied the odds and defeated the giant Heartless. By then the Moogles had finished their work and the defense network was preventing more Heartless from appearing. Even many of the people that had vanished were beginning to slowly but surely reappear. Although it had cost one of them an arm, trio of Vic, Terrence, and Ash had become the town heroes although most of the town believed it was the Moogles that saved them all. Between Ash's budding mechanical genius and the Moogle's own technology, a bionic arm was was made for Vic to replace what he had lost. Over the next year, the trio became the best of friends. Vic often let Ash tinker with his arm or make adjustments and improvements, and the two of them often visited Terrence on his farm as well. But it seemed danger was never content to stay gone forever. Another Heartless attack ensued, this one even worse than the first one from a year ago. Vic and his friends tried to fight them, but this time they were simply overwhelmed. This time there was something different about the Heartless. Before they had attacked wildly and seemingly at random. This time they were attacking in coordinated numbers, as if there was someone calling the shots from behind the scenes somewhere. Eagle Land was lost that day, but it's hope was not entirely gone. Vic awoke to find himself somewhere else, somewhere he would soon learn was en entirely different world. Unfortunately his two precious friends were nowhere to be found. Age: 13 Skills: Vic is one of a few special individuals in his world that was born with the gift of PSI. PSI is quite literally the power of the mind, various energies and other effects manifesting in the form of psychic powers known as PK spells. Keyblade: Bound Together

PK Fire: A burning fire elemental power known for shooting in a wide form capable of hitting multiple targets standing in a row. PK Freeze: A strong ice attack that makes up for only hitting a single target by being capable of devastating damage or even outright freezing the target solid to immediately eliminate them. PK Thunder: A lancing arc of lighting that can zap multiple enemies standing in a line. PK Splash: A splash or crashing wave of water that can hit targets clustered close together in small groups. PK Lifeup: A rejuvenating surge of energy capable of restoring fatigue or even healing wounds. PK Shield: A psychic barrier capable of absorbing psychic or magic damaging to protect the intended target from harm. PK Mirror: Similar to PK Shield, this version of the power can bounce psychic attacks or magic spells back at their caster, though for a much shorter duration of time. PK Magnet: A power that can drain a target's mental energy to restore the user's own psychic stamina.
Personality: Even in his hometown of Onett, Vic had the reputation of being the quiet kid. Before he met his friends, Vic used to find whatever he could to avoid interacting with or confronting others. When the earliest forms of his PSI allowed him to telepathically communicate with animals, began to use that as his way of conveying his thoughts and feelings, though no one at the time could really explain it. And even after moving to Twoson, Vic would only ever verbally speak with Terrence and Ashley, while still relying on his telepathy for everything else. A crippling shyness, most would call it, but one that ultimately led him to developing his greatest power.

Name: Eagle Land Summary of History: WIP Important Nations (Great Powers, etc.): Not nations, per say, but the most important towns in Eagle Land include Onett, Twoson, Threed, Fourside, Winters, and Summers. Overall Technology Level: Similar to current day, but with a few rare examples of hi-tech inventions made by Dr. Andonuts. The Moogles had also been helping increase the technology level as well. They suspected a Horror to be involved and were fully ready to kill whatever demon they encountered. The last thing they expected to find was a child, not even a year old. The baby boy was alone, having been seemingly abandoned there and with no indication of his identity save for a single name sown into the blanket he was wrapped in: Ezra. After ensuring the child was indeed human and not a Horror in disguise, the two took the child home where their own son Shun was waiting in the care of one of Asuna's fellow priests. The child was adopted into the family and grew up undergoing the same training as Shun, the parents believing it was best for both boys to understand the threat of the Horrors and to both be prepared to fight against them when the time came. When the boys came of age, it was the elder brother Shun who inherited the Makai Armor from their father. Both underwent the same tests to determine their worthiness of being able to lift the Soul Metal that the Armor and Sword accompanying it were made of, and in the end they chose Shun. Whether it was his biological relation to their father was unknown, little was ever truly known about Soul Metal other than its potency against the forces of Darkness and the Horrors. So Ezra instead took up his mother's role as Makai Priest, learning from her an assortment of charms, alchemical formulas and even dabbling into some dark arts. During Ezra and Shun's first true outing as Makai Priest and Makai Knight respectively, they found themselves against an opponent they'd never seen before. They were small, twitching fox-like creatures that seemed to melt in and out of the ground and were purple and blue in color. They didn't behave like Horrors, but they were still aggressive just the same. Shun's Makai Armor protected him rather well against their dark attacks but Ezra fared a bit worse. But that was when Ezra's hand flashed a bright light and produced a mysterious blade that he was able to use to cut his opponents down. Neither of the young men knew what this weapon was, and neither did their parents. It was completely new to them. There was one however who did know. Moogles had already come to this world, but few ever stuck around due to the threats from the Horrors and the Makai Realm. But there was at least one who did and had been sharing some of his knowledge with the Makai Priests to better arm them for their struggles. He explained that the weapon was something called a Keyblade, that it was weapon of Light. He did not, however, recognize the description of the foes Ezra and Shun fought. He knew of an enemy known as Heartless, but these blue and purple creatures did not match that description. But Ezra, now armed with a Keyblade, became much more formidable in the hunt for Horrors. He and Shun rapidly became known to be among the best of the best. Age: 23 Skills: Before becoming a Makai Priest, Ezra was given the same Makai Knight training as his brother. This gives Ezra the distinction of having a Knight's battle prowess and a Priest's ability to cast certain spells, although Ezra tends to lean a bit more toward the former in part because of his possession of the Keyblade. Ezra even discovered additional powers his Keyblade, it being able to transform into a whip weapon that gives it a significantly longer reach and a considerably sharper edge in its attacks. Growing up, one of the many things hammered into him during training was that however hard they fought, they couldn't always save everyone. Ezra took that to mean he should minimize the attachments he forms with people on the premise that it will make it easier for him make a tough decision later on. Of course, that's a lot harder than it sounds, and more often than not Ezra will grow attached to his allies despite his best efforts to remain detached and stoic.

Name: World of Makai Summary of History: In this world, humanity faced a dark era where it was nearly wiped out by demonic monsters known as Horrors. Horrors originated from a demon realm known as Makai World, and they preyed upon humanity as a way of making themselves stronger to give birth to more Horrors. A group known as the Makai Priests became the sole hope of preventing humanity's extinction, and the Priests used every spell, equipment, and even dark arts at their disposal to defeat as many Horrors as possible. But even the Makai Priests were only able to combat weaker Horrors, and eventually a new measure had to be taken to combat the more powerful Horrors. After discovering an incredibly rare material known as Soul Metal, Makai Priests used it to create a limited set of powerful Makai Armors that could only be wielded by those strong enough to withstand their power. These warriors were named the Makai Knights, and their power was enough to defeat even the strongest of Horrors. In the present day, the Horrors and the Knights and Priests doing battle with them have become a close guarded secret, with modern day humanity having no knowledge of any of it. Important Nations (Great Powers, etc.): The Horrors, demonic monsters from a dimension called the Makai World, they prey on human concepts of fear, wrath, or even lust; their blood so cursed that even getting a drop of it on you results in your eventual turn into a Horror. Makai Priests were the first to successfully fight against the Horrors using all manner of spells, devices, and even forbidden dark arts; in the present day they take on a more supportive role, often being partnered with a Knight or with each other to make the best use of their strengths. The Makai Knights were formed after the discovery of Soul Metal and when the Priests found that they alone were not enough to defeat the stronger Horrors; Knights wield the Makai Armor, granting them significant strength and power against the Horrors, but the armor itself is not perfect, and will permanently transform the wearer into a Lost Soul Beast should they wear the armor for longer than the limit allows them. Overall Technology Level: The same as the present day, but with the addition of varying degrees of magic or even steampunk devices created by the Makai Priests.
