It was an unusual scene for the catgirl, but she surely wasn't against it. While not expressing that attitude outwards, as usual; Ruby did enjoy this little conversation of theirs which had shifted greatly from the start- Such friendly and idle chatting about someone who shared some interests, even if not the same ideologies, appealed even to a more introverted personality like Ruby's. Truth be told she was amazed by some of the other students' motivations for becoming heroes. They were like multi-page essays compared to her empty sheet with only one sentence. It almost felt like her reasoning was lacking in comparison to her classmates; But luckily Ruby was not the type of character to fall down into such a depressive ideological sinkhole so the catgirl could quickly brush the thought aside and keep her focus on the other girl. One word which Mina mentioned was "Tournament" and it had sparked Ruby's interest to an extend where her ears twitched slightly upon picking up the soundwaves. Though before she could really ask for further explanations, they both got distracted. Ruby was taken back to the reality that this was indeed the girls' dorm's common area meaning that anyone could enter at any time. A fact that the neko would be reminded of again very soon. Their conversation basically abruptly ended as Mina seemed interested in listening in on the ongoing conversation in the other group that was there sitting on the other side. She even, not so sneakily attempted to listen in by moving in closer inch by inch. Naturally Ruby did not have such issues as she could hear them clearly although the self proclaimed well-mannered girl did not do so at first out of respect for their privacy. Once her name was audibly dropped next to Mina's, even Ruby began listening in- It didn't sound bad at all. While she had barely ever spoken a word to Dulga, she seemed like the type of person who would do a proper efficient almost boot-camp like trip to train their abilities- Especially the last sentence spoken by Dulga got to her. "No Drama, just fighting" An offer the neko could hardly refuse. She never shied away from extra-phsyical training to improve her own body and, judging by Mina's interest in the conversation, the self-announced lightbulb possibly wanted to go as well. But even then... Ruby did not know how to approach them! How does one approach another group of girls that they hardly know? It sounded like it would require at least 5 levels of social skills! The poor catgirl hardly had one. For someone who was not afraid to get shot at, this social situation posed a huge threat considering it was her who'd have to approach someone and not the other way around like it had always been up to this point. Ruby trembled a bit and gulped before looking over to Mina again. Mina.... Mina! She was her opportunity; Her chance! She clearly seemed interested so maybe they could just go over there together and Mina would happily announce their interest in the trip to which Ruby would have to do nothing but follow the lead and everything would work out nicely. The catgirl played the scenario out in her mind and was just about to lean over to talk to Mina before someone else decided to make an appearance... Someone who brought up memories. Seeing that very overwhelming girl shriek her presence into the room and bearhug the poor innocent girl from behind. What a scene! The neko was practically trembling in her chair again. Last time they interacted Mia had abused a power pointer to completely embarass the catgirl and her feline characteristics... a slight blush had appeared on Ruby's face by now. Maybe she would not notice them though! Maybe Ruby still had a chance before- "Oh Fu" The neko thought to herself before she was pulled into a very warm and light squeeze. In an attempt not to lose her composure, Ruby was notably stiff which the affectionate Mia would likely notice and the wink did not exactly help either. Nonetheless Ruby would keep her manners, keep up her good behavior and be at least greet someone who seemed so delighted to see the two of them. "H-Hey Mia... it is nice to see you. I am good; I hope you are as well." Mia could possibly feel something furry brush aside her as Ruby made her tail move to the opposite side of Mia so that the bubbly girl could not do any feline-abusive shenanigans again. Especially not in front of so many people! Sitting with one arm around her Ruby's attention was dragged away from the camp rather quickly; Though she'd be sure to return to it soon together with Mina hopefully. The purple-haired neko didn't really listen in to Mina and Mia's conversation though with ears as sensitive as hers it was difficult not to. [@Silver Carrot] [@Aerandir]
