Half-awake, he robotically moved his hand to hit the snooze button, only to start when the alarm clock felt a lot softer than he expected. His brown eyes flew open to find his hand resting on the forehead of an equally baffled Igglybuff. "Sorry, bro," Ty mumbled. "Old habit." The trainer then proceeded to pull his blanket up a little higher and try to go back to sleep. But within a few minutes, Medic managed to convince her groggy trainer to get up earlier on this momentous day, as he had told her to do. Ty rushed through the shower, quickly clothed himself, and spent a good twenty minutes styling his hair. Hunk the Timburr joined his trainer by the mirror, making sure his log had just the right amount and size of splinters to look a little more menacing than usual. As usual, Reaper crossed his bladed arms in impatience, occasionally hissing a complaint to the Igglybuff next to him. By the time the group reached the cafeteria, a few other trainers were hanging out there. Ty recognized most of them from the evening before. He frowned slightly, wondering if they were still okay with him after he asked about their wild story and then failed to come up with a good, friendly response to all the drama they had gone through. But, the only certain way to fail is to never try. The leather-clad trainer chose a table next to Sophia's, hoping to strike up a conversation but willing to eat alone if she didn't want to. He took a sip from his large cup of coffee and passed some bowls of food around to his Pokémon. "Mornin'," Ty casually addressed Sophia. "You still want to do that contest in Vareena? I've seen some contests, but I've never participated myself."
