Beneath the skin, instead of blood and muscles, was tech. More, at a glance, than one might believe possible. Her free hand was poking around inside, the fingers on her visible hand twitching occasionally, as she manipulated something hidden into place. Her eyes were hidden behind the visor of her helmet, but sure was obviously zoned in on her work. When Ana entered, for Elle had called for her, she wouldn't even look up. The computer screen beside her, however, would flip through several screens before stopping on a single message. It's Behemoth. We leave in three minutes. The minutes were displayed as a counter, counting down to the millisecond. ”Fuck. I’ll get changed.” Ana quickly pulled a 180 and bolted out of the room, returning about two minutes later in her full costume helmet and all. This wasn’t the pairs first rodeo with an Endbringer event, but that didn’t do much to diminish the fear of it all. By the time Ana had gotten back, Elle was already done with whatever adjustments she had been working on and was geared up and waiting. <> With a motion to tomorrow, Elle started walking quickly towards the meeting area. Ana took a deep breath and rolled her shoulders letting out her stress. It was never easy getting ready for and Endbringer, going in with the knowledge that you’re not going to be able to save everyone is… Difficult to say the least. ”So what’s the plan? Same as usual?” <> ”Jesus. This really isn’t what they needed right now… I know it’s never a good time for and Endbringer attack. But this just feels unfair.” <> By then they were there, getting into range for the local teleporter who would take everyone who had signed up to fight to Denver. Charm shook her head as she walked into range of the teleporter. ”Fucking masters…” In a flash they were off, appearing moments later outside of the Denver PRT building with a crack of thunder. As soon as her eyes adjusted to the sudden change, Elle stepped forward. She didn't stumble as a tremor shook the ground, striding forward unfazed. Floating in front of the building was none other than Legend himself. Ana had covered her eyes with an arm to avoid the blinding flash of their teleport, even still it took her a moment to adjust. Well shit, Legend was here. At least they had a member of the Triumvirate to help slow Behemoth down while they got as many civilians out as they could. She took a look around at the current state of the city, it wasn’t looking the greatest. Hey maybe Behemoth would feel bad and just leave. Heh… Wishful thinking… ”Fuck never get used to that bright flash.” <> Manifold signed with a nod and she glanced around the growing crowd. More were arriving every few moments. Ana rubbed the chin of her helmet as she looked at all the assembling heroes and villains. ”Huh, so these are the capes of Denver.”
