It's just a preference of mine. It makes it feel more like your playing one of the games, instead of just another RP. 

I don't mind if you want to dice roll unimportant characters, like trainers along the routes or minor baddies hanging around a base. But for major characters, I would rather you earn your win like you would in the games.
