Of course a lot will be changed, this will not be completely historically correct. I don't require that you have prior knowledge of Mary's history, I will give the necessary details. The plot will take place during the 1500's, similar to when Mary was Queen. My character will be under a lot of fire because of her religious beliefs and tolerance for other religions, as well as the rumor of her being promiscuous. My character will also be a very young widow, her first husband and King, dying from illness, forcing her to seek a new husband and King. As a lone Queen, the dangers are extensive. People are out for her head, authority figures want a man in her place and her off the throne entirely. Unlike the real Mary, my character has never had children, another aspect that is frowned upon. I would like this plot to take a very dramatic turn. I want tons of secrets, scheming, scandals, and plots. You can implement your character anywhere. I would prefer you play a rugged character over a sweet or delicate one.[/s][/color][/i]

This plot will be a MxM one, it will include romance, darker themes, and a bit of an age gap similar to the movie. I will be playing the younger male role, you will be playing the elder male role, my characters father's graduate-student assistant. Like the movie, it will take place in northern Italy, it can be during 1983 or it can be present day, I don't mind. The plot will revolve around our characters falling in love, it begins as a fling, my character believes he is straight and has never thought otherwise. When your character arrives, he begins to feel things he has never experienced, towards another male. Your character will likely be flirtatious, but in a very subtle manner. He definitely isn't a submissive or feminine man, my character isn't quite submissive either, but is much more so than yours will be. There is tons of room for growth and story here![/color][/i]

[i][color=mistyrose][s]YC was always troubled, his childhood began in a dump of a neighborhood, it was dangerous, rundown, not the place to raise a family. His mother was alone, his father a deadbeat guy who he knew nothing about. His mother worked night and day, she wasn't a good mother but she kept the power on and a roof over his head. All this chaos was a recipe for disaster, he grew into a rebellious teenager. He took up the hobby of tagging, joined a gang, got into fights, robbed houses, and eventually fell into an addiction to opiates. He was broken, racked with anxiety, struggling with depression, just barely keeping his head above the water until one night he met a girl online. They met through a gaming community and eventually began texting nonstop. His intentions were impure, she was only eighteen, naive and too sweet for a guy like him. He sweet talked her, got close to her, and eventually what began as ill intent, turned into something more. He realized his life looked a little brighter whenever she was in it. He didn't always treat her well, often lashing out, accusing her of things and not speaking to her for weeks on end. But throughout it all, she stayed and was always just a text away. They remained friends for years before she got a boyfriend, she loved him but he was abusive. He hurt her countless times and each she would run back to YC, her bestfriend. Eventually, YC would convince her to come visit him, meet him for real. She was hesitant, but agreed. 

From here we will play out their meeting, things will probably be really awkward but also have a lot of heated tension between the two. This is a story I came up with a while ago based off of true events so I'd like to keep the characters kind of similar. YC is a young Latino around the age of 21, he's reckless and mean, but also very unhinged and emotionally broken. He craves love and is almost obsessed with MC, but isn't quite abusive towards her. He will probably be fairly assertive and dominant, he isn't afraid to take control or speak his mind. He also has a drug problem, this will be a large portion of the story as well, he struggles with a cocaine, opiate, and smoking addiction he just can't shake. At one point he may even convince MC to try one of his many poisons. There is a lot that can and will happen, this story is dark, has no limits, and is not for the faint of heart![/s][/color][/i]

Our characters will have their own stories, personalities, lives, etc. But we will follow the same basic storyline as the film, with some adjustments and spins. Our characters have known one another for a summer. It was a short love, but a very heated and powerful one. MC goes off to college, she waits and waits for some kind of word from YC, but receives nothing, despite YC having wrote letters everyday for a year. Eventually YC writes one last farewell letter before going off to the army. While he's there, MC becomes a nurses aide and cares for wounded army men, this is where she cares for a man who she eventually marries and falls in love with. ([b]This is where some twists will be implemented.)[/b] This man MC falls in love with is a real Casanova, he's charming and loving, but has a problem with alcohol and often gets violent when he drinks. Despite this and his outbursts, the two get engaged. During this period is when YC arises in MC's life once more. He's just as lovely as ever, they bump into one another by chance and catch up. Things are tense, but the spark and connection is strong as ever, despite them trying to deny it. We will continue from here, I will be playing the main female as well as YC's current girlfriend. You will be playing the main male as well as MC's fiance. This will be a mix of light, bubbly romance and darker themes. We will likely delve into darker topics so beware! [/color][/i]

MC enters into her first year of college, in a dedicated relationship with a man she has known since childhood. She is sweet, the last person you'd expect to become unfaithful. Upon first meeting YC, things are strictly platonic, YC is drawn to how "different" MC is, most girls in college are reckless and desperate to get wasted and laid. MC is dedicated to her studies, she blocks out the chaos and has little to no friends because of this. YC see's this and "targets" her so to say, seeking her out and spending time with her as much as he can despite her hesitance. Eventually something blooms, this will [b]not[/b] be immediate. There will be a lot of little instances where their interactions linger just on the line or inch past it. The maiden goddess, or May Queen, is the manifestation of growth and renewal.  The young Oak King, or Jack-In-The-Green, proves his virility in sport to win her hand.  Their blessed union is then consummated, and she becomes pregnant.  They are the symbols of sacred marriage, or Hieros Gamos, and their fertility spreads abundance throughout the land.  This union of masculine and feminine, Earth and Sky, has been reenacted by humanity for centuries.  This is the night of the Greenwood Marriage, and the entire evening is steeped in sexuality and sensuality, passion, joy, and vitality.  This is when all plans, hopes, and dreams are transmuted into actions![/color] ❞

The night begins with festivities, an abundance of wine and music, a warmth that encases everyone attending. The entirety of the Kingdom gathers around for the May Day Festival, a festival that was once for Gaelic purposes, now used for "good luck" and the prosperity of the Kingdom. Twenty young women, each the age of 18-20 are assigned the role of "The Prey" and likewise, the same amount of men are chosen to be "The Predator." Each are dressed accordingly, the girls wearing delicate, white toned attire with the choice of adding face paint and flower accessories, and the men wearing more barbaric costumes to convey masculinity, some adorning makeshift horns. One girl is chosen as the May Queen, this knowledge unbeknownst to the men. As the sun begins to set, the festivities come to a pause and the girls are sent off to hide in the lush Kingdom forest. Not long after, the men are sent out on their hunt for the May Queen. All nineteen of the girls, attempt to divert the attention of the hunters, leading them away from the May Queen with tricks and seduction. Only the predator who outsmarts their prey and proves their vitality beyond their fellow predators will capture the May Queen, and be crowned Oak King. The two strangers must then spend the rest of the night together, consummating their "love." All those who have attended, and the land they all stand on is said to then be blessed by the union of the May Queen and Oak King.
