She was used to others supplicating themselves to her, she was used to others attempting to woo her, but never had she encountered someone with the temerity to try [i]both[/i] in the same breath - much less after doing her what might have been a great insult to many!

Even more audaciously, he claimed to have done so for the sake of their other roommate, the shy one who's name she had already forgotten. Apparently he found Xinhua's intimidation of her a crime, and so took matters into his own hands, though it appeared they were clumsy hands indeed.

The dragon priestess actually laughed. How interesting!

Turning back, Xinhua made for their room once again, without waiting for Zane's reply.
