Everything just seemed to fall back into place, like the Mistress' disappearance never even happened. If only that was the case... But despite feeling so, Grisaia couldn't help but be a bit glad that she did go missing. If she hadn't, he would have never met Aer nor Donovan, two people he was comfortable enough to call friends at this point. He honestly couldn't wait to see Mie again to rub it in her face that he could make friends excluding her. Unfortunately, there were more important things to worry about, like the cover up story he got from the Mistress this time. The Mistress had been lucky that Grisaia was too overwhelmed by her return to really ask about it afterwards. Going off to see a friend overseas, then going to some pit fight without returning home beforehand? It didn't sit right with the rabbit. She should've known the possibility of getting hurt in such a rowdy place, but she still decided to go without any supervision or even letting anyone know. The metia he received from the Mistress to track her necklace made the story a bit more believable, that it was just a spur of the moment decision she made, but still... The first few days the Mistress returned, Grisaia focused all of his attention on her, to the point where even the other servants couldn't even approach her without the bunny or one of his Spirits hovering over them like a mother bear protecting her cub. Thinking back on it, he had to admit that he was going a bit overboard, but now that more time has passed, Grisaia had backed off, but only a little bit. It was almost enough too make him think more objectively about the events pertaining the Mistress and what happened at the clinic. The Mistress' voice was Grisaia's cue to open his eyes. Oh yeah, he was waiting for her to finished the breakfast he made for her. He stood at her right, slightly behind her chair as to not bother her if he stated to fidget. Anubis did the same, but instead at her left. The Mistress' bittersweet words brought the tiniest of smiles to the blonde's face. "I appreciate your kind words and am forever grateful for the faith you've always had in me. But please, I ask you to take caution from now on. Not everyone is as trusting as you want them to be." Her faith in him sprouted and budded from concrete, but now, it's blossomed into something that even Grisaia himself had trouble comprehending. He was lucky, no doubt about it. "Awww~, it's so adorable when you get all mushy and overprotective about the Mis--" Anubis never got to finish as Grisaia forcefully cleared his throat, and simply smirked instead knowing that his point was made. The slightly flustered bunny focused back the other when she asked for him to check up on Aer. "Of course. Anubis, stay here, I'll be right back." Bowing slight to show he was leaving, Grisaia made his way out of the dining room and towards the living quarters. It was Grisaia's first time hearing that Aer was sick, so he was a bit nervous to see the girl when she wasn't at her best. But making sure she was doing better was top priority. It didn't take him long to find her room. Three slow knocks followed by a call of her name was the strategy, but seeing as there was no response, Grisaia needed to pry. "Miss Aer, I coming in now, alright?" He gave her a few seconds, if she was awake to prepare herself, before turning the doorknob to her room open and poking his head in to see what she was doing.
