[@Cio] The screech stunned Beck and she fell against the van's door, trying to cover her ears with her hands even though the damage was already done. She only heard ringing in her ears, dazing her further, making her feel as if she was floating in a near-unconscious state. All at once she was pulled back into reality by cold breath against her neck and Vanessa's hands immobilizing her. She had abandoned her just as quickly, though Beck still instinctually kicked at the air to get the attacker off of her. Regaining her senses somewhat Beck got to her feet, holding onto the van door for some support, and saw that her new vampire friend had found just what she needed. Beck smiled; it seemed like justice had been served. Slowly regaining her senses, Beck returned to the medkit and took out hydrogen peroxide and a curved pair of forceps; that bullet still had to come out, and on a full stomach the vampire would be feistier than ever. Waiting for Vanessa to finish feeding, she grabbed a large handful of fast food napkins from the glove compartment. Not the classiest way to get blood off your face, and certainly not what this lovely creature had in mind, but it was better than nothing.
