Sounds about right. I reckon it's something I'll start giving my full attention towards as the deadline draws near if I'm honest, keeping in mind that I'd like a count of all players that wish to take part. I feel it kinda early to expect people to line up so soon in the RP, not everyone has even had a chance to post yet.

[i]That said[/i], I wouldn't want to push things back [i]that[/i] much. If someone hasn't shown interest soon after learning about it, I doubt that would change much weeks down the line.

Perhaps what I will do, given how I wouldn't want to inconvenience people by demanding they write out in detail their characters arriving at the guild to sign up for the quest, is just require them to tell me OOC, or a PM here or on discord that they're interested. The cut off date will probably be by the end of next week. That way I'll know who's up for it and will be able to prepare accordingly.

In-story, I see the quest having been up a day or so before the IC starts anyway. I might be off about that, but that's my interpretation. That's a convenience for player characters who are already settled in the village. To newly arrived characters who are joining the quest, I would love just a small but clear mention of signing up at the very least. I'm of course not going to hold people to that though.
