Odin Ivarsson
"The bandits out here are opportunistic scoundrels. A trading post in the middle of nowhere is easy pickings for the likes of 'em, especially since it means they won't have to deal with any sort of resistance. At least it's good we got here in time." Odin's hunch was correct. The ranger knew they would be dealing with bandits as soon as they had crossed that palisade... though, admittedly, he did not account for having this much time to prepare, or a place to set up some sort of ambush. Indeed, this could be the perfect opportunity to prove to at least some of the denizens of the River Kingdoms that his bow is now dedicated to the protection of the people. And even then, it gives the group the perfect opportunity to build some rapport. In any case, helping Oleg and Svetlana out of their bind was out of the question to Odin. Odin walked up to the bearded merchant with his hand out. "Name's Odin. We'll help you two out, of course, but first we'll need your help as well. The best way to deal with these bandits is making sure they don't know we're here and catching them off-guard. That means we'll need you to tell us of any hiding places, nooks and crannies we can hide ourselves in so we could get the jump on these thugs." After giving Oleg's hand a shake, Odin turned to the rest of his companions, taking his backpack off and holding it by one of its straps. Looking for a small nook to tuck it into, Odin stashes his pack somewhere safe and hidden before preparing his quivers. "That means we'll need to coordinate ourselves, as well. I'm thinking based on the time we have and the size of this post, we should make a death trap for these brigands. Whoever's the quietest should be by the doors so we could lock the bandits in. It'd be better for us if they were unable to call for help or escape. I'll find some place to snipe 'em down..." Odin then turned to Rosie, thinking that if she recognized these bandits, then she'd be able to help identify who the biggest threat may be. "You said you recognized some of 'em, right? Which one of them do you think I try and take out first? I've got some blunt arrows in case you want me to knock any of 'em out, in case you wanted to... have a word with 'em."
